What would we talk about on December 7th, 2010 but Cataclysm? Well perhaps (and more importantly) Pearl Harbor Day, had we planned for it ahead of time. But before Blizzard even discussed having goblins as a character option our own Julie said she would come back to the game if they were playable – which means Rob Pardo listens to our show. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it. After the show stay tuned for news of the comings and goings in Everquest II, See you online (on the Proudmoore Server) Julie and Fran |

Welcome to No Prisoners, No Mercy Show 73! This week we start out with a discussion with our own big news of the week - having breakfast with Martog and Gowron. Next up is about the big news coming out of Cryptic: Champions Online going free 2 play and Star Trek Online launching player created content! This week the Pirate Bay made plans to shoot their servers into orbit - But only after failing to purchase the Micronation of Sealand. This is always something to be Mad-as-hell about and this week it's over Fallout: New Vegas. In the second half of the show Mr. Vlad Loscutoff, founder of MobRule Studios, spends some time talking to us about independant game development. The sisters call out Chris Columbus for being 500 years late. Sister Julie gives in to that new beta smell. Once again the NPNM team gets MAD AS HELL, and this time takes aim at WoW patch 4.01 - Learning along the way that there IS somewhere to go from bottom. The NPNM team has their own special interpretation of WoW’s massive subscriber base. It turns out that numbers may fib a bit, but never outright lie. The smell you THINK you smell is NOT spoiled dog – it’s a Cataclysm spoiler warning. (To skip Cataclysm Spoilers jump to time 45:48 in the show). On the after show we chat about EQ2 extended changes. For links to news and articles discussed on the show go to www.noprisonersnomercy.com |

Who’s bad is it? We talk about our Brewfest experience. The sisters get mad as hell about a game that not only scrapes the bottom of the barrel, but is made out of what is underneath the barrel. We discuss a thorn in our sides that we share with Blizzard’s own lead systems designer Ghostcrawler. Next Mr. Shannon Posniewski, executive producer for Champions Online joins us. (During the discussion with the Poz we had to call him back and we reached a pizza parlor…or so we thought). After the show we will have a short chat session about EQ2. |

Welcome to No Prisoners, No Mercy show 69. This week the fabulous sisters (if we do say so ourself) talk about pink caddilacs, ogres In Nagrand wearing Manziers, sister Fran's schoool of leveling (ding!), getting frelled by Blizzard as well as... - Rep mounts in Wow and Lotro where Julie puts her nose to the grindstone and grinds it back to the medula oblongata - Mafia II - Zynga finds out a rose by any other name does not smell as sweet - Final Fantasy XIV - The Schwarzenegger double standard - "Banned in Boston" - Medal of Honor - EA finds also finds out that a rose by any other name does smell as sweet as long as it isn't spelled E-D-G-E. The sisters realize this is Deja Vu all over again with Groucho Marx. - NC Soft gets hit with a suit that claims the Devil didn't make the plaintiff do it even though he hasn't bathed in 20,000 hours. - EA and APB on the PDQ and the "real" story - The sisters take a brief look at a bunker somewhere in Stockholm, Sweden - Love is in the virtual air and uses augmented reality - Our good friend and author J.T. Hamption stops by briefly at the end of the show to share Sister Julie's birthday and chat about the Chicago Comic Con. Bonus Content after the show: Net Neutrality by Senator Al Franken Web sites:

Additional Notes: Unamused, Warner Bros. requested that the Marx Brothers at least outline the premise of their film. Groucho responded with an utterly ridiculous storyline, and, sure enough, received another stern letter requesting clarification. He obliged and went on to describe a plot even more preposterous than the first, claiming that he, Groucho, would be playing “Bordello, the sweetheart of Humphrey Bogart.” No doubt exasperated, Warner Bros. did not respond. A Night in Casablanca was released in 1946.

Bobby Kotick et al, easy going guys, slap a bear in the face. Blizzard tries to turn rotten lemons into lemonade and fails, but manages to keep spaceships out of World of Warcraft (sort of). The sisters step through the really, REALLY Dark Portal with some fantastic ideas from The Pink Pigtail Inn [http://www.pinkpigtailinn.com/] and realize that it’s the journey that counts and not the destination. Breakfast isn’t ready because Julie can’t fry an egg in her bra, but the sisters pass the roles anyway. And Fran puzzles out the first great game. Julie and Fran |
