No Prisoners, No Mercy
There comes a time, friends, when your favorite MMO ceases to sparkle, when even new videogames lose their luster, and the computer room becomes a prison; and all that is left are two gamers (who happen to be nuns) with a very large axe to grind. Come join Julie Whitefeather and Frances Kosac as they discuss the events in the videogame industry.
No Prisoners, No Mercy - Show 68

Welcome to Show Number 68!

Fallout: New Vegas is discussed, including the talents of Wayne “Mr.
Las Vegas” Newton. Fran and Julie see the handwriting on the wall (it
spells net neutrality). Also discussed - World of Warcraft, The
Transformers mmo, Bill Roper, Medal of Honor, Star Wars, Blue Ray and
laser disks the size of a tire on a buick.

The topics of the week are Guild Wars 2, including the dynamic events
system, and Julie decides that it really could be the future of mmos.
Next we talk about World of Warcraft’s Cataclysm expansion.  We save
the best for last and spend a few minutes with Dr. Richard Bartle and
chat about his upcoming award as a legend of gaming.

No Prisoners, No Mercy - show 67

Welcome to Show 67!

Bobby Kotick et al, easy going guys, slap a bear in the face. Blizzard tries to turn rotten lemons into lemonade and fails, but manages to keep spaceships out of World of Warcraft (sort of). The sisters step through the really, REALLY Dark Portal with some fantastic ideas from The Pink Pigtail Inn [http://www.pinkpigtailinn.com/] and realize that it’s the journey that counts and not the destination. Breakfast isn’t ready because Julie can’t fry an egg in her bra, but the sisters pass the roles anyway. And Fran puzzles out the first great game.

No Prisoners, No Mercy - Show 66

Welcome to route 66! This was a week of bad computers, Everquest 2 players getting slapped down and the great wall of SOE going up. Along the way we find out why you can start sending your hate mail to Mickey Rat, and why Senator Al Franken is concerned about two companies that have been stomping around yelling Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum (we agree). We fill out the rest of the show with talk of trailers and why Ed Norton is out and Karl Urban is in.
