No Prisoners, No Mercy
There comes a time, friends, when your favorite MMO ceases to sparkle, when even new videogames lose their luster, and the computer room becomes a prison; and all that is left are two gamers (who happen to be nuns) with a very large axe to grind. Come join Julie Whitefeather and Frances Kosac as they discuss the events in the videogame industry.

This week Julie and Fran welcome Senior Designer for Fallen Earth Marie Croall, from Icarus Studios in their second half hour. In the first half the fabulous sisters will share news and commentary on the mmo news of the week. Along the way Google, Verizon and AT&T end up the subject of this weeks Mad As Hell.

Welcome to No Prisoners, No Mercy show 69.

This week the fabulous sisters (if we do say so ourself) talk about pink caddilacs, ogres In Nagrand wearing Manziers, sister Fran's schoool of leveling (ding!), getting frelled by Blizzard as well as...

- Rep mounts in Wow and Lotro where Julie puts her nose to the grindstone and grinds it back to the medula oblongata

- Mafia II

- Zynga finds out a rose by any other name does not smell as sweet

- Final Fantasy XIV

- The Schwarzenegger double standard

- "Banned in Boston" - Medal of Honor

- EA finds also finds out that a rose by any other name does smell as sweet as long as it isn't spelled E-D-G-E. The sisters realize this is Deja Vu all over again with Groucho Marx.

- NC Soft gets hit with a suit that claims the Devil didn't make the plaintiff do it even though he hasn't bathed in 20,000 hours.

- EA and APB on the PDQ and the "real" story

- The sisters take a brief look at a bunker somewhere in Stockholm, Sweden

- Love is in the virtual air and uses augmented reality

- Our good friend and author J.T. Hamption stops by briefly at the end of the show to share Sister Julie's birthday and chat about the Chicago Comic Con.

Additional Notes:

Unamused, Warner Bros. requested that the Marx Brothers at least outline the premise of their film. Groucho responded with an utterly ridiculous storyline, and, sure enough, received another stern letter requesting clarification. He obliged and went on to describe a plot even more preposterous than the first, claiming that he, Groucho, would be playing “Bordello, the sweetheart of Humphrey Bogart.” No doubt exasperated, Warner Bros. did not respond. A Night in Casablanca was released in 1946.
