Topics for the show are as follows: 1. Steam and the anything goes mentality - now they have competition in the form of epic, discord and gog 2. With Epic Games, Good Old Games, Discord and Origin now competing against steam is this a case similar to what we see with streaming services with everyone trying to grab a "piece of the pie" when there is only so much pie to go around? Will We see the same thing as is happening with "Battle Royale" mode with every game offering them to the point we are sick of it? https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2019/03/disney-to-close-vault-for-good-as-it-moves-film-library-to-streaming-service/ 3. Mobile gaming vs. PC Gaming - have corporations begun to step away from rampant corporate greed such as we saw with EA's Dungeon Keeper and other "Pay or Wait" games? 4. Gopher - just make good games |
