Welcome to Show 120! This week we welcome Eric Petway back to the show. As you may know, the man who brought us the Wing Commander series, Chris Robinson, has returned to game developement with a vengence. Welcome to Show 115 This week we have a special guest – the Disney of Steampunk, the founder of Teslacon, Lord Bobbins. Instead of playing an adventure on a computer Teslacon is an immersive convention that lets you step back into the Victorian age and live the adventure of a virtual trip to the moon! This year there will be an attempt to set a world record. There will be brass bands. When Lord Bobbins is in his alter ego he is known as Eric Larson, who has done 22 conventions as well as working on the Star Wars movie, at Pixar and at Disney.

Welcome to No Prisoners, No Mercy Show 114! It's Augusts 28th and time for the beginning of the long awaited mmo (it seems like each new game is long awaited) Guild Wars 2. So we have invited Jessica Brown (Ironman Mode, Anjel Syndicate, Allaweh.com) and Saylah (Mystic Worlds) to fill us all in on the low down on Guild Wars 2. Does the game live up to the reputation? Saylah thinks so. After all, she has had the game on pre-order for three years. Jessica has upped the Ante by pay $150.00 for the Guild Wars 2 collector’s edition.

The number of players they have acquired in the space of a few short months is simply astounding (more than EA still has for Star Wars the Old Republic). This time we welcome Mr. K. and Mr. S. from the AFON Show. Initially we heard of them both because we all share love of the NERF Hobby. This means, of course, we have to have a chat about our mutual love of NERF with two gents whom the Hasbro Company holds in such high regard that they flew them both to New York. What caught our eye, however, was that both Mr. K. and Mr. S. are both trained video game developers. We have often discussed the video game industry from the standpoint of individuals who have been involved with it for a long time.
